3. Contact

Contact form

If you contact me using the contact form, the data you enter – in particular your contact details and the content of your message – is processed to handle your enquiry and respond to it.

Form entries are transmitted and technically processed through Cloudflare infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers).

Your enquiry is then forwarded to my Proton Mail inbox. I process and respond to it through my Proton email account. Details about the provider and data processing at Proton are provided in the following section on contact by email.

If your enquiry concerns entering into or performing a contract, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries are processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is handling and responding to communications addressed to me.

The data is deleted when it is no longer needed to handle the enquiry and there are no statutory retention requirements or other legitimate reasons for retaining it.

Providing personal data through the contact form is neither a statutory nor a contractual requirement. However, without sufficient contact details, I may be unable to process or respond to your enquiry.

Depending on the content of your enquiry, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract, or on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of my legitimate interest in handling business and other enquiries.

The European Commission recognises Switzerland as providing an adequate level of data protection.

Emails and the personal data they contain are deleted when they are no longer needed for the relevant communication or business purposes, unless statutory retention requirements or other legitimate reasons for retaining them apply.
